In Orchid or Salon Iris, It is possible to send an SMS reminder to your clients about their upcoming appointments. 


How To

Under the clients profile / Contact Information page, you will find a "SMS Text Number Field"

In order for this to work, you will need to ask the customer their Telephone provider and append the "@........" as in the table below.


Example, to update me as a client's sms number it would be 3524547026@messaging.sprintpcs.com because i have a sprint telephone.


It may be a good idea to print this out and keep it near by for reference.

To Allow for successful Text messaging reminders to clients, the number has to be entered in an email address format under the “SMS text number” field in Orchid.

It is important to know the customer’s carrier for this to work. The number must then be entered as per the setting below based on carrier.
