You are having this issue because

You are using a Mac computer and are using remote desktop to connect to a server running quickbooks
You are using a Monochrome printer

To Resolve the issue:

Go into printer setup – Select Invoice - > Select the Printer > Options -> select black and white printer

Try the above change and let me know if it works.
